Role description


As a Mathematician/Math Programmer you hold an important position in the testing of games for the gambling industry. You conduct math analysis to accurately calculate the return, odds, volatility or any other mathematical problem for simple to moderately difficult games. Together with Test Engineers, you discuss your analysis and findings and indicate what elements need to be verified. Where applicable, you resolve math related issues with mathematicians from other offices as well manufacturers.


In the end, your work contributes to games being approved for use in landbased and online markets all around the world.

Job demands

• Bachelor or University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Sciences or Mathematics
• Familiarity with concepts of casino and table games (e.g. slots, poker, blackjack, roulette, etc.)
• Experience in writing applications in Java and/or C/C++, Visual Basic for analyzing or simulating (or parts thereof) for said games with emphasis on specific details like probabilities, maximum values etc.
• Familiarity with Python programming language
• Familiarity with basic combinatorial concepts, probability theory and statistics, conducting math analysis
• Excellent English language verbal and written skills
• Ability to balance quick service, quality in production of deliverables and meet deadlines
• Working knowledge of (but not limited to) Microsoft Excel etc
• A quick learner when it comes to new programming languages and/or concepts
• Have the necessary skills and ability to communicate with relevant personnel (all levels), clients and other Mathematicians from other offices to resolve all mathrelated issues
